About Me
I am multifaceted and sometimes need to embody an octopus. I am a South African Canadian with no accent and I am known for capturing memories with skill and passion. I adore my little zoo with my spouse, our 2 tiny feral, yet incredible, girls, an 82 lbs puppy, 2 senior cats, and hopefully soon some chickens and a bearded dragon. I am a stealthy handyman (handywoman), a novice gardener, a pack-llama-mama, and a small business enthusiast.
I was a martial artist, a trained firefighter, a starving artist, a jack of all trades but master of none, and 50 lbs lighter in my previous life. I struggled with depression and anxiety, completely losing myself (physically and mentally) and being blind to my purpose because of a deep hole I almost gave up on getting out of. Things needed to change! I needed to change and be who I knew I could be and needed to be - a badass in my own right!
